But she seems unique and different; she related with me like an adult....While the shoot was on, she asked out of the blue for my cap....smiles. she said "i have paid you for this shoot, can i have your cap for a pose? Water is essential, it purifies the earth. It symbolizes cleanliness. Water is peace, Water is calmness.Where there is water there is life. Before  civilization, our mothers would go to the stream to fetch water. They'd store water in an earthen pot that serves the purpose of  a  refrigerator  . 

         Civilization is a blessing, however, it has taken  so much from we Africans. Perhaps that's one of the reasons people don't live long anymore like our forefathers. Africa is a blessing to the world. Africa is perseverance. Africa is joy. Africa is black. Black is beautiful. Let's celebrate what makes us

Culture and Tradition

        

I figured my generation knows little or nothing about 'Culture' and they miss the blessings thereof. Then, i came up with this shoot i themed TRADITION. We no longer have elders that are willing to tell stories like our forefathers did. Western education has adulterated our values, beliefs and culture. Parents don't want their kids speak the native dialect. Youth no longer respect elders........it's high time we appreciated what makes us African, the Western world must understand we've got things mother-nature has deprived them of.....We are Africans, We got values, We are made of Black and Black is a Virtue
